Sometimes things go wrong when trying to make an Elixar call. To help you troubleshoot, please read and follow these instructions:

Please ensure your system and network security meet our minimum requirements: https://bondilabs.crunch.help/elixar-help/elixar-system-requirements

  • When you first join an Elixar call session, ensure you have approved any microphone or web camera permissions that may have popped up on your screen or by clicking on the lock icon next to your browser's address bar.

Google Chrome connection settings

  • Whilst in an Elixar call, ensure your microphone and web camera button is not toggled to off.

  • Please confirm the person you are communicating with is also using a computer or smart glasses device that meets our minimum requirements.

If the microphone or camera still do not work, please use the following guide from the Google Chrome team to check your web browser settings.

Still Stuck?

  • Is there more than one microphone or camera device plugged in? Try removing one.
  • Try making an Elixar call using another computer device.
  • Try using another Chrome web browser based call service to help isolate the issue. We recommend trying https://whereby.com/ or Microsoft Teams.
  • If things still do not work, we advise you contact your IT team to help investigate.
