Glossary
- Session: A discrete remote connection between two or more users. Sessions are designed to support visual audit inspections.
- QR Code: Special QR code used by the Elixar smart glasses application
- Images: Bucket for images uploaded during a session
- Messages: Log of all text messages during a session
- Scheduled Start Date: A session will show up on that day in the calendar.
- Scheduled Expiry Date: A session with an expiry date will become inaccessible after the chosen day.
- Passphrase: An optional randomly generated 3-word passphrase that your users will need to enter before they are able to enter the session.
Join Session
- Selecting Join Session to open the session in a browser page.
- Selecting Show QR Code and scanning the QR code using the Elixar application on a smart glass. The QR Code image can be copied and sent to participants.
- Selecting the Copy Session URL and sending it to participants to allow them to access the Session in a browser page.
Images
Images uploaded during a session can be found here. You can
- View image in high resolution
- Download an image
- Delete an image
Messages
All messages sent during a session are logged here. This includes images captured and system events.
Update Session Details
This can only be done by ALMs, Organisation Admins, and Organisation Users.
Update Session Name
1. Select the Session Name field
2. Enter a new session name.
3. Select off the field.
Update Passphrase Protection
- Select the Passphrase Protection toggle to turn passphrase protection on or off
- Select Reset to generate a new passphrase.
- Copy can be used to copy the passphrase to your clipboard so that it can be sent out to participants.
Update Session Start or Expiry Date
1. Select the Starts or Expires date.
2. Select a new date.
