Can't connect to Elixar session (Smart Glasses)

Common issues that can stop an Elixar smart glasses call connecting

If you experience any issues with the Elixar app software or website, please check:

  • You have successfully setup and used the RealWear HMT-1 device
    Smart Glasses device user and connected web browser peer users are connected to WiFi and Internet.
  • There is no firewall, website blacklisting or other network limitations on the device or connected peer users networks.
    Device user and connected peer users have at least a 2 Mbps upload and download connection.
  • Connected peer users microphone and webcam can make calls e.g. have tested using other video call software. 
  • Connected peer user is using Chrome web browser as per Elixar Website Minimum Specs Elixar System Specs

If you have completed these steps and still can't connect please also check.

The smart glasses device is connected to the local wifi.

The smart glasses device system clock is accurate.

Nothing is obstructing the camera from scanning a QR code.
